Since the 1960s, Canada has relied heavily on the Philippines for its nurses.
CBC News producer Stephanie Dubois spent weeks in the Philippines in June to learn more about the people involved in recruiting Filipino nurses for Canada and how they do it. We also wanted to know why nurses feel compelled to leave.
