CBC opens its doors to you, everyone is welcome!

On the weekend of Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25, 2022, between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., the new Maison de Radio-Canada will open its doors to all for the very first time! It’s a unique opportunity for the general public to enjoy a free, hour-long guided tour of the new building (by reservation only). Visitors will have the chance to go behind the scenes and see the new spaces where all the magic happens.

And that’s not all! Place de Radio-Canada (at the corner of René-Lévesque and Alexandre-DeSève) will host a slew of fun events that are free for the whole family (no registration needed). Starting at 11 a.m., Zone Jeunesse will put on a number of shows and activities just for kids. Then, at 1 p.m., Révélations Radio-Canada rising stars and DJs will take the stage for special performances courtesy of ICI MUSIQUE. They’re sure to get you up and dancing and into the party mood!

Join us for a memorable weekend filled with festivities and more than a few surprises! Both indoors and out, it will be an exciting opportunity to meet your favourite artists and on-air personalities!

Please note that we will be offering more free tours of the building on weekends starting in October. New time slots for tours will be available shortly.  All the details to come by the end of the month on Radio-Canada/experiences.
