Inon Or The Conquest Of Fire

From Frédéric Back

The story is based on a very lively Algonquin legend that tells of man and animals mutually agreeing to put an end to the misery of cold by conquering fire. Inon, the God of Thunder, possessed fire, but refused to share it with man, as he loved to use it only for frightening them. Bear had a dream and it was decided to send Hawk, Wolf and Beaver to search for fire. A series of adventures follows with a happy ending.
