HOW TO ENTER
To enter the “MON COUP DE CŒUR FRANCOPHONE” contest, you must visit Radio-Canada.ca/coupdecoeur between October 23 and November 13, 2011, and fill out the official entry form. Contestants must provide their name, full postal address, email address, telephone number and age, along with the answer to the following question in the language of their choice: “Quel est votre coup de cœur francophone en 25 mots?” (“ Describe your favourite francophone musical experience or encounter in 25 words”). Answering this question is mandatory for contest eligibility, in addition to filling out the entry form.
Limit of one (1) entry per person, per day and per email address. Only one email address may be used to enter the contest, regardless of how many email addresses the contestant has. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programming, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. Any person who is found to have entered more than once per day will be disqualified, along with all entries received from this person.
To be valid, all entries must be received via the Radio-Canada.ca/coupdecœur website by November 13, 2011, at 11:59 p.m. (ET).
No purchase is necessary. The odds of winning the prize are directly related to the number of eligible entries received.
CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY
Contest is open to all Canadian residents who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence at the time of entering the contest. Administrators, directors and employees of CBC/Radio-Canada, Coup de cœur francophone, Air Canada, and their affiliates, as well as their immediate family (father-mother, brother-sister, son-daughter) or persons living under the same roof, are not eligible to enter this contest.
PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING PRIZE
On November 20, 2011, between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. (ET), during the shows Chants libres à Monique hosted by Monique Giroux (Espace musique) and À Propos hosted by Jim Corcoran (CBC Radio 2), the winner’s name shall be revealed. The winner shall be determined by a random draw conducted from all eligible entry forms received via the Radio-Canada website. The first randomly drawn contestant who has correctly filled out the entry form shall be declared the winner, subject to fulfilling all the conditions described in these rules. Randomly drawn entry forms that have been incorrectly filled out shall be disqualified.
The winner shall be contacted by email during the week following the draw and must confirm acceptance of the prize as instructed by CBC/Radio-Canada by no later than seven (7) days after the date s/he was initially contacted. If the prize is not claimed or a winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days of the draw, a new draw will be held.

The prize includes only what is specifically described and no other allowance shall be granted. The winner and his or her companion will have to pay all expenses including, but not limited to:
Flight dates are at Air Canada’s discretion and the winner shall be informed of them as soon as the festival programs have been released. The following blackout periods apply: from December 16, 2011, to January 11, 2012, from June 22 to September 4, 2012, and from December 15, 2012, to January 9, 2013. Other restrictions may also apply. Multi-city bookings are not permitted. The winner and his or her companion must travel on the same flights and complete their travel by the end of November 2012.
A recognized credit card will be required for payment of airport taxes, fees and surcharges, including, but not limited to, the security charge, airport fees, fees for immigration services, and fuel surcharges.
Once tickets have been issued, the origin and destination cannot be changed. If the winner needs to change the booking, however, s/he must go to “Manage My Bookings” on aircanada.com. All changes in travel time and date will result in varying additional fees per ticket, subject to availability.
Approximate total value of prize: $5,000
a) To be declared a winner, the randomly selected contestant must first correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question and have answered the question on the entry form.
b) The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged for an amount of money, nor sold nor transferred. No substitutions will be allowed.
c) The winner shall sign a document attesting to his/her eligibility as stipulated in paragraph 2 of these rules and releasing CBC/Radio-Canada, Coup de cœur francophone, Air Canada, their subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, from all liability for any damage or loss arising from participation in this contest or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize.
d) Winners shall agree, if required by CBC/Radio-Canada, to have their names and/or pictures, notably their photos and/or voices, used for advertising purposes in connection with this contest, without compensation.
e) Refusal to accept the prize releases CBC/Radio-Canada, Coup de cœur francophone, Air Canada, their subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, of any liability or obligation toward the winner.
f) If the prize cannot be awarded as described in these rules, CBC/Radio-Canada, Coup de cœur francophone, Air Canada, their subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, reserve the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable value.
g) Should contestants make any false statement, they shall be automatically disqualified from the contest.
h) CBC/Radio-Canada, Coup de cœur francophone, Air Canada, their subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, shall assume no liability resulting from losses, delays, mistaken addresses on mail or email received, typographical errors, technical, computer or telephone malfunctions, damage to software or computer equipment, fraudulent calls or any other mistake.
i) CBC/Radio-Canada, Coup de cœur francophone, Air Canada, their subsidiaries and affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers and employees, shall assume no liability whatsoever for any situation in which their inability to act results from an event or situation beyond their control, including a strike, lockout or any other labour dispute at their location or the locations of the organizations and businesses whose services are used to hold this contest.
j) By entering, contestants agree to abide by the contest rules, which shall be applied by CBC/Radio-Canada. All its decisions are final.
k) All personal information such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and age shall be used solely for the purposes of administering this contest, and shall serve no other purpose without your consent. In supplying said information, you consent to it being used for the purposes stated.
